PLANNING

 I'm a procrastinator and even though i'm excited to do this project, if I don't organize when I should do the blogs, the recording, the buying or creating props, etc, I know i'm not going to finish it before the due date.

That's why I created on my notebook a calendar: 

With each day passing, I am filled with different emotions such as excitement and anticipation to bring all of my ideas into life. The first step is to establish a foundation for the story i'm creating. Tomorrow i'm going to create a storyboard for a visual representation of what I want to do. The storyline and outline help me ensure that the story unfolds in a logical and engaging manner, so that every scene, shot or prop has a specific purpose in the plot or character development.

FOR NOW, this is what i'm thinking the film is going to be about:

In a cluttered home, the main character is seen working diligently on their laptop. Ignoring a call from their mom, the character is interrupted by a mysterious figure knocking at the door. The main character opens the door to find the figure pushing their way inside. The scene ends with the character's fear as an unknown figure enters their house. 

The viewers is left wondering about the identity and intentions of this unknown shadow that interrupts the character. 

I really want to start studying more about lighting, editing and directing so that my film opening turns out good. I'm asking my mom soon if she wants to help me and be my actress!! pray for meeeee, as I continue to develop the plot and the characters, I'm also trying to remind myself the importance of staying true to my vision but also remaining open to new ideas.
